CUFE Business School Successfully Completes 2025 College Admission Promotion and Consultation Work

To deepen cooperation with high-quality feeder high schools in Shaanxi and Gansu provinces and improve the quality of undergraduate enrollment, the Undergraduate Admission Promotion Working Group of CUFE Business School, under the leadership of the School’s Party Committee, coordinated and advanced a series of admission promotion and consultation activities in the two provinces from October 2024 to July 2025, successfully completing all tasks.


I. Joint Leadership by Party and Administrative Teams, and Continuous Strengthening of the Promotion Team


CUFE Business School has continuously strengthened the construction of the admission promotion team, with the Party Secretary and Dean serving as co-leaders. It has expanded the team size and optimized the personnel structure. CUFE Business School’s Party-Administrative Joint Meeting regularly discusses and arranges undergraduate admission work, promoting the integrated advancement of enrollment, cultivation, and employment.


The 2025 Undergraduate Admission Promotion Team of CUFE Business School includes over 40 members, covering senior professors, young teachers, administrative staff, outstanding postgraduates, undergraduates from the source regions, and alumni. It has integrated into three specialized groups: the Shaanxi-Gansu Lecture Team, the "Longma Lecture Hall" Expert Group, and the "Senior-Junior Buddy Group". Additionally, there are special teams responsible for answering admission hotlines, managing consultation QQ groups, and creating promotional materials, continuously improving the multi-dimensional promotion system.


On June 4, 2025, CUFE Business School invited Zhang Xiao, Deputy Director of the University’s Undergraduate Admission Office, to conduct a special training session. The training provided systematic guidance on professional capabilities, disciplinary requirements, and safety standards, while organizing team members to exchange experiences, laying a solid foundation for the admission work.


II. Solid Foundation-Building and Unblocking of Diverse Promotion Channels


Jointly Expanding Channels to Cultivate a Fertile Ground for Student Recruitment


2025 marks the first year of the full implementation of the new college entrance examination reform in Shaanxi Province and the second year in Gansu Province. To better understand the new college entrance examination policies and the overall student source situation in the two provinces, and fully prepare for admission work under the reform model:



Participants from both sides conducted in-depth discussions on admission policies, promotion methods under the new college entrance examination reform, and hot issues of concern to candidates and parents, laying the groundwork for long-term cooperation and preparing for the 2025 college admission work.


CUFE Business School actively promoted cooperative exchanges with high-quality feeder high schools, conducting lectures for senior three students and their parents, and delivering popular science lectures for students of other grades. From March to May 2025. Li Yuexin (Party Secretary) and Lin Song (Dean) led teams respectively, with the participation of Geng Hui (Director of the University’s Undergraduate Admission Office), Yang Zhongying (Deputy Party Secretary of CUFE Business School), and teachers from the admission promotion group including Wang Zhimei, Miao Yuexin, Gao Yongling, Zhang Guangli, Yao Xiao, Dou Chao, Qi Yu, Wang Huiting, and Zeng Gongxing. Jointly with alumni such as Wei Yuanqing (President of the Shaanxi Alumni Chapter) and Xing Mingqiang (President of the Gansu Alumni Chapter), the team successively carried out a series of admission promotion activities in high schools including Xi’an Middle School, Gaoxin No.1 Middle School, Tieyi Middle School, and High School Affiliated to Northwestern Polytechnical University (Shaanxi Province), as well as Longnan No.1 Middle School, Lanzhou No.1 Middle School, High School Affiliated to Northwest Normal University, Zhangye No.2 Middle School, Zhangye Middle School, Jiugang No.3 Middle School, and Jiuquan Middle School (Gansu Province).



During the activities, the team introduced CUFE Business School’s distinctive advantages, major settings, and admission policies, answered questions of concern to students and parents, and held discussions with principals and deans of academic affairs of the high schools to gain a deep understanding of the overall situation of students and listen to suggestions on CUFE Business Schools admission promotion work. In the admission lectures, teachers delivered speeches from different perspectives, with topics such as The Wave of Technological Iteration and the Choice of Finance and Economics MajorsUniversity Major Selection in the Digital-Intelligent Era and the Cultivation of New Finance and Economics TalentsExploring New Business Studies, and Serving the Country through Finance and Economics – A Unique Growth Journey. They encouraged high school students to identify their disciplinary positioning amid technological changes and plan their knowledge reserves in advance. The lectures were attended by attentive students, with lively interactions and a harmonious atmosphere.



CUFE Business School’s admission promotion group also held discussions with freshmen representatives from Shaanxi and Gansu provinces. The student representatives shared their application experiences and put forward valuable suggestions on the form, timing, content of admission promotion, and the design of cultural and creative products.



CUFE Business School launched the "Four-Season Post Office" student activity, where current students wrote encouraging postcards for senior three students and sent them to high schools in the source regions, strengthening ties with the high schools.


Joint Promotion to Deepen the Education Ecosystem


CUFE Business School carried out joint promotion and admission work with local sister universities such as Lanzhou University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, and Northwestern Polytechnical University.



On October 19, 2024, Associate Professor Lu Jizhou from the Department of Supply Chain and Operations Management of the Business School and Chen Yiwei from the University’s Undergraduate Admission Office went to Qujiang Campus of High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University and Lugang Campus of Xi’an Tieyi Middle School to participate in admission policy consultation meetings. At the meetings, they further introduced CUFE’s basic information, school-running characteristics, disciplinary construction, talent cultivation, and employment directions to Shaanxi candidates and parents, answered questions related to application, and built an efficient and smooth information bridge.

On May 29, 2025, Associate Professor Dou Chao gave a comprehensive introduction to CUFE’s school history, disciplinary construction, talent cultivation, employment directions, and campus activities in a training session on the new college entrance examination policy and application guidance for Shaanxi Province.


From June 14 to 16, 2025, CUFE Business School’s admission promotion group was invited to participate in the 2025 "Longyuan Tour" college admission activity. Teachers Wei Zhaohui and Zhou Yan conducted admission consultations in Dingxi No.1 Middle School, Huining No.1 Middle School, Pingliang Information Engineering School, and Qingyang Vocational and Technical College; Teachers Dou Zongyue and Liu Baijiang carried out admission consultations in Linxia Middle School, Lintao Middle School, and Baiyin No.9 Middle School, actively promoting CUFE and its undergraduate programs.



Multi-Dimensional Synergy to Enhance Promotion Effectiveness


CUFE Business School’s admission promotion working group actively promoted various undergraduate majors of CUFE Business School through multiple channels. Dean Lin Song participated in the "Dean Guides You to Choose Majors" live broadcast organized by the Admission Office and accepted an exclusive interview with Manager Magazine. Professor Dai Hongyan gave a special live lecture titled How to Choose and Redefine New Business Studies in the AI Era. The University and its Admission Office’s official WeChat accounts promoted articles such as Re-Awarded International Highest Standard Recognition! CUFE Business School Continues to Maintain Global Leadership! and "Supply Chain Management – Economic Statistics" Double Bachelor’s Degree Program in multiple issues.



During the 2025 admission promotion season, CUFE Business School actively connected with the education examination institutes of Shaanxi and Gansu provinces, reposting CUFE’s comprehensive promotion articles and offline consultation schedules, which achieved high readership and good results.



In addition, CUFE Business School was approved for the "Law-Business Administration" Double Bachelor’s Degree Interdisciplinary Talent Cultivation Program this year, which became a key attraction for high-scoring candidates during on-site admission promotion and live broadcast promotion. These promotion efforts enhanced the popularity and appeal of CUFE’s and CUFE Business School’s characteristic majors.

III. Coordinated Linkage and Precise Guidance on Volunteer Application


On June 24 and 25, the college entrance examination scores were released successively in Shaanxi and Gansu provinces. Consultation work after the score release was the top priority of the undergraduate admission promotion work. From June 24 to 28, CUFE Business School’s admission promotion working group went to Xi’an and Ankang (Shaanxi Province), as well as Lanzhou, Tianshui, Jiayuguan, Jiuquan, Zhangye, Longnan, and Dangchang (Gansu Province) to carry out admission consultation work.


Gansu Team (17 teachers, students, and alumni): Including Yan Nina, Yao Xiao, Qi Yu, Chen Anqi, Zhao Xun, Liu Xinfeng, Lu Xuezhao, Zhang Hui, Zeng Gongxing (teachers/students), and alumni Xing Mingqiang, Ma Guodong, Hao Yajuan, as well as students Ma Yamin, Yang Kaijia, Deng Qian, Li Linlin, and Pan Wenjing. At the consultation meetings, teachers and students of CUFE Business School’s admission promotion group actively promoted the 2025 admission policies to thousands of candidates and parents, carefully explained key application points, and patiently responded to various inquiries to help them make scientific volunteer applications. Team members collaborated closely, providing professional and thoughtful answers from the perspectives of the University’s advantages, admission policies, major features, admission data, and campus experience. They also distributed promotional materials and guided candidates and parents to follow official platforms for comprehensive information, winning wide recognition and effectively improving the efficiency of admission consultation.



Meanwhile, online consultation channels were fully unblocked. From June 21 to July 1, CUFE Business School’s 5 admission hotlines were constantly busy. Six teachers in the hotline team – Wang Yueying, Sun Xiang, Ji Yueting, Gao Zhennan, Zuo Yuhan, and Qi Yan – carefully listened to the questions of candidates and parents and conducted thorough return calls. After the release of college entrance examination scores, parents and students also raised questions continuously in the QQ consultation groups. Teachers Qi Yu and Wang Huiting in the QQ group consultation team patiently answered the questions of parents and candidates and recorded candidate information.


Up to now, the 2025 undergraduate admission promotion and consultation work of CUFE Business School has been successfully concluded. This work lasted nearly a year, covering the entire process of preliminary preparation, on-site lectures, discussions and exchanges, multi-channel promotion, and college admission consultation. It received overall guidance from the University throughout, ensuring the smooth implementation of all tasks. In the work, members of the admission promotion group always adhered to CUFE spirit of "seeking truth and striving for excellence". By optimizing promotion strategies and improving service quality, they continuously gathered high-quality student sources, contributing to the university’s efforts to attract outstanding students and cultivate pillars of the country.
