Led by relevant principals of Dongqing, the Business School team visited the China Aluminum-Magnesium Processing Industry Exhibition Hall, the Medium and Heavy Plate Plant, the Pilot Base of the Technology and Quality Center, and the new and old special material forging production lines of Dongqing. They experienced Dongqing’s role as one of the manufacturers of "national pillar enterprises" and its continuous contributions to the country’s high-end core fields since its establishment.

From Dongqing’s development history, teachers and students clearly saw the hardships and glory of New China transforming from a backward agricultural country in the early days of its founding to a modern industrial power today, and felt the "101 Spirit" of Dongqing employees who overcome difficulties and forge ahead.

To gain a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of Dongqing’s development and actively advance the "100 Cities, 10,000 Enterprises" practical research project for Chinese-style modernization, students conducted interviews and exchanges with heads of various departments of Dongqing under the guidance of Associate Professor Yao Xiao and Teacher Liu Xinfeng from the Business School. The topics covered finance, human resources, equipment engineering, special materials, safety, environmental protection, and health.

During the on-site visit to Dongqing, the research team not only felt the innovative pulse of high-end manufacturing but also deeply experienced the academic power of integrating theory and practice.
