Selected Practical Experience Sharing from Students

Guo Guanlin (Postgraduate Student)

"I would like to thank CUFE and Western Securities for providing this precious opportunity. This activity made me deeply feel three types of 'warmth': first, the warmth of humanity – the chartered buses and thoughtful meals reflected meticulous care; second, the warmth of experience – the course content taught by the teachers was practical and realistic, sincerely guiding our future and career development; third, the warmth of inspiration – the training and suggestions over the three days made us rethink our current plans and further clarify our life paths. Through these three days of learning, I have gained a lot of knowledge that will help my future planning and career development."

Yang Yanran (Undergraduate Student, Class of 2023)

"I would like to talk about my gains from this trip around three 'blessings'. First, the 'blessing' of 'timeliness' – this practical training came at the right time for my academic and career exploration. Second, the 'blessing' of 'appropriateness' – the arrangement of courses and visits was well-balanced, neither too superficial nor too esoteric. Third, the 'blessing' of 'progress' – this experience helped me make progress in both professional knowledge and cognitive thinking. Although the time was short, the three days were as precious as gold. This valuable experience has helped us, as eager learners, accelerate our transformation into 'Pi-shaped' young people with solid professional literacy and a strong sense of social responsibility. Thank you very much to Western Securities for the careful arrangement, and to the school for providing this precious opportunity and the teachers for their hard companionship!"

Xia Zishan (Undergraduate Student, Class of 2023)

"Over the past few days, I have systematically learned about the basics of the securities industry, the operation of Western Securities, and its business processes. As a 'beginner' in this field, I was able to adapt quickly and gain a lot. This practice is an important starting point. Whether in future study at school or internship work, I will take this as motivation to strive to improve my professional and practical abilities."

Yang Xinran (Undergraduate Student, Class of 2023)

"The practical suggestions from the teachers based on their work experience have benefited me a lot. In particular, the career planning lecture given by General Manager Huang Ying clarified the recruitment requirements of securities companies and helped me better plan my future. The internship application process shared in the course is very practical for undergraduate students. The emphasis on communication and initiative by the teachers is also a detail I previously overlooked. Thank you to Western Securities and the school for building this platform, allowing us to truly get in touch with this industry."
