The Artdesignstore Company is pleased to offer the all new 2007 Australian One Ounce Silver Koala, just released! Following the success of their other silver bullion coin series such as the Australian Kookaburras and Australian Lunar Series, the Perth Mint has just introduced a brand new silver bullion coin series, featuring their beloved koala, native only to Australia. As a "first-year-of-issue" coin release, the 2007 koala may become the "key" to the series (which is typical of first-year-of-issue Australian coins). Rumor has it that the koala may actually replace the kookaburra coin series entirely, depending on the popularity of the new issue.
The coin is gem brilliant uncirculated with a gorgeous "reverse-proof" finish. The background is frosted while the images have a mirror finish which is exactly the opposite of U.S. proof coins. Each coin comes in a clear plastic capsule as issued by the Perth Mint in Australia. Each coin has a face value of $1.00AUS and contains one ounce 0.999 fine silver.
